Education and Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Planning, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar production planning role within the steel fabrication industry (an asset).

Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Familiarity with steel cutting, welding, and machining processes (an asset).
Skills and Experience

Excellent understanding of production and planning processes.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (an asset).

Good understanding of the relationships between the different modules within an ERP system.

Strong analytical mindset.

Ability to anticipate planning needs and organize work effectively by optimizing task allocation to maximize production efficiency.

Ability to make decisions regarding daily operations to achieve results and optimize the production cycle.

The incumbent of the position must regularly collaborate with Doppelmayr Group teams located outside Quebec and consult technical documentation, databases, and other materials available exclusively in English.
