The Front Desk Agent welcomes everyone to the hotel and provides exceptional customer service.
Checks guests in and out using Opera Property Management System
Promotes IHG One Rewards programs.
Code electronic keys. Take cash and credit card payments and balancing float at end of shift.
Answering switchboard, wake up calls,
Taking reservations, changing reservations. Apply yield management principles
Liase with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding the availability of available rooms.
Ensure full completion of all duties relating to the shift.
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Maintain a professional appearance.
Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions.
Must be patient and able to multi task, demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
Must be able to remain calm and to adhere to all matters relating to Health & Safety and emergency procedures.
Previous front desk experience required.
Opera experience required.
Must be available weekends and holidays.

Pay: $18.20 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Hotel front desk: 1 year (required)
- Opera PMS or equivalent system: 1 year (required)
