Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Clear tables promptly, reset for new guests, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations to ensure guest safety
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Capable of standing for extended periods, walking throughout the shift, and lifting moderate loads when necessary
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential
