Position Overview:
We’re a growing company with exciting opportunities for career advancement. We’re seeking a skilled and Certified Automotive Technician to join our Downtown team in Nanaimo. The ideal candidate will be a Red Seal/Journeyperson Technician with a passion for automotive repair, a commitment to quality, and a collaborative mindset. However, we are also open to considering an ambitious and driven 3rd-year apprentice actively working towards certification and eager to grow their skills within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle and equipment issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on various vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and other automotive systems.
- Strictly adhere to safety standards and workplace procedures.
- Accurately document all work performed and recommend additional repairs using our software system.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians and advisors throughout the repair process.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Automotive Technician.
- Proven experience as a technician (references and work samples preferred).
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Willingness to relocate to Nanaimo, BC.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
