Bill & Walter’s Garage is a busy, well established independent repair shop serving Burnaby since 1956. We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Automotive Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys diagnostics, and wants to be part of a professional, long term team.

Responsibilities
* Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian and European vehicles
* Complete inspections, maintenance and repairs efficiently
* Diagnose electrical, drivability and mechanical concerns
* Perform road tests and verify repairs
* Communicate repair recommendations clearly with the Service Advisor
* Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity and shop cleanliness
Requirements
Only applicants who meet the following qualifications will be considered:
* This position is not suitable for Apprentices.
* Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification
* Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience as a red seal
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Experience diagnosing and repairing domestic, Asian and European vehicles
* Valid BC Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
* Own professional tools
* Reliable, professional and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
* Provincial Vehicle Inspector (PVI) Certification is considered a strong asset.
