Job Description
KingFisher Boats is looking to add full-time and part-time production workers in our various production departments. These opportunities do not require previous experience in production work as we are looking for good people to add to a team-first environment.
What will you do?

Various opportunities in all stages of production. Each of the points
-
Operate CNC Routers and Hydraulic Brake Presses (Cutting & Forming department);

Weld, fabricate, and pre-drill options into aluminum hulls (Welding department);

Prepare boats for painting through media blasting, buffing, sanding, grinding processes (Paint Prep department);
-
Painting of boats (Paint department);
-
Assemble and install various components and systems into boats (Assembly department);

Conduct quality control checks throughout the build process (all departments);

Follow all applicable KingFisher Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
What do you need to succeed?
-
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - A willingness to learn as we will provide necessary training on tool usage and build processes;

Previous experience in manufacturing or boat building is an asset, but not required;

Mechanical aptitude and competency with hand and power tools is an asset but not required;

High attention to detail is required in order to achieve quality standards.

Wage Range: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour

Mid and Max ranges vary based on department;

Wage reviews are conducted three times in the first year of employment and then annually afterwards.

Working Conditions

Regular periods during which there is continuous physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Exposure to factors such as high noise levels, temperature variations, fumes, and moving machinery which may cause periods of discomfort.

Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed.

Noticeable pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands exists.
Schedule Options
-
Day Shift - Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday depending on department.
-
Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday – 1:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Flexible part-time arrangements may be available.
