This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on prep work and helping keep production moving efficiently through the shop.
Responsibilities
Vehicle preparation for paint
Sanding, masking and final preparation
Assist painter as required
Move vehicles throughout the repair process
Coordinate vehicle flow between departments
Ensure vehicles are ready for each stage of repair
Perform quality checks before vehicles move to the next department
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with general shop duties when required
Requirements
Licensed Autobody Prep Technician or registered apprentice
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
Strong organizational and time management skills
Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Team player with good communication skills
Wage based on experience/skill level.
