Job Description – Supply Chain Manager
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (in office 4 days/week)

half of surgical patients are unprepared for the stress of their surgery and this significantly increases the risk of
complications and mortality. EMN has developed ENROUTETM, a surgeon recommended nutrition program to help

The Role:
EMN is seeking a proactive and strategic Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of and lead our supply chain
during a critical period of rapid growth. Reporting to the COO, you will define and implement our supply chain
strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s business objectives and requirements. This includes executing,
managing, evolving, and scaling our supply chain operations to meet the increasing demands of our business. The
role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to anticipate and manage change. You'll focus on
quality and continuous improvement, ensuring our supply chain is efficient, resilient, and capable of supporting
our growth trajectory.

leadership style is collaborative, and you are skilled at motivating and guiding teams through periods of change.
Key Responsibilities:

Scaling Operations:
- Implement scalable systems, policies, and processes to support customer service levels, business
growth, and audit readiness.
Develop and maintain systems that ensure the supply chain remains efficient, flexible, and
capable of scaling with the company’s rapid expansion
- Supply Chain Management:
- Manage and coordinate end-to-end supply chain processes, including sourcing, procurement,
manufacturing, packaging, logistics, quality control, and fulfillment, with a focus on scalability
and efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to support the company’s growth
trajectory and future-proof operations.
- Supplier & Vendor Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and
cost-effective procurement of materials and services that can scale with the business.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that support both current operations and future growth.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with applicable regulations (e.g., Health Canada, FDA) as
the company scales.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact supply chain scalability, ensuring continuity and
reliability as operations expand.
- Inventory & Demand Planning:
- Oversee inventory management and demand forecasting to ensure that supply levels can meet
the growing demand, with a focus on optimizing stock levels, minimizing waste, and efficient use
of working capital.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align inventory strategies with the company’s
rapid growth plans.
- Continuous Learning & Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, improve product quality,
support business growth, and drive margin improvements.
- Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the supply chain team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure supply chain activities support overall
business goals and the rapid scaling of operations.
- Support financial reporting as required to ensure accurate visibility into supply chain
performance.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and driving innovation across the
supply chain.
- Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the food, foodtech, or nutrition
industries, with a focus on scaling operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a rapidly changing
environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems, particularly in scaling
environments.
- Previous experience working in a start-up is highly beneficial
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
(Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a track record of managing supply chain
operations during periods of significant growth.
- Knowledge of Health Canada and FDA regulations and GMP guidelines.
