Made By Marcus is hiring a Permanent Ice Cream Production & Baking Associate. You will produce Made By Marcus ice cream from start to finish in a commercial production kitchen, where consistency and food safety matter. You will follow recipes and prep standards accurately, support daily production goals, and keep the workspace organized and clean.
This role is hands-on and physical. You must stand and work on your feet for extended periods, and lift and carry product up to 50 lbs.
You will
- Learn and follow recipes and directions accurately and consistently
- Prep, produce, and portion ingredients and product to support daily production plans
- Monitor and accept daily deliveries, then store and rotate product correctly
- Keep dry storage, walk-ins, and fridges organized, labeled, and clean
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards every shift
- Use and care for production equipment and tools, and report issues quickly
- Communicate clearly with the production team, FOH, and leadership when support is needed
Work expectations
- Shifts run Monday through Friday, between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, based on production needs.
- Weekend shifts may be required
- Overtime may be required to meet operational needs
- Arrive at least 5 minutes early, ready to work at your scheduled start time
- Treat all team members with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, discrimination, or abusive behavior is not tolerated
- Full-time applicants must provide availability Monday through Friday, and weekends as needed

Requirements
- 2+ years of baking or food production experience
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to follow recipes and instructions
- Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced kitchen
- Food safety experience is an asset
Kitchen standards
- Personal mobile phones are not permitted in the production kitchen
- Follow uniform and grooming standards, including hair restraints and beard nets when required
- Clock in and out on the Square iPad each shift for accurate timekeeping
Pay: Pay is issued bi-weekly weeks on Friday. Tips are distributed according to the company tip policy.
Hiring process: All applicants complete a Google Meet interview and a working interview as part of the selection process.
