Duties
- Set up and operate industrial sewing machines according to product specifications and production schedules
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime
- Follow detailed sewing instructions to assemble or repair textiles, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and adherence to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and improve workflow processes
- Document production activities, including quantities sewn and any machine issues encountered
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with sewing machines and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully and work efficiently under deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products
- Good physical stamina; able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
