Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. This role involves both cooking and food preparation, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests in a fast-paced Hotel restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
