JCL Investments Inc. is a leading heavy civil construction company committed to building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our communities. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior ITSupport Technician to join our growing IT team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, learning new technologies, and providing excellent customer service. Working directly with our IT Manager, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience supporting enterprise systems and technology used across multiple construction and business operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their IT career who is looking to develop long-term skills and grow within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
· Provide first-level technical support to employees
· Install, configure, and deploy Windows desktops and laptops
· Set up new employees with computers, Microsoft 365 accounts, phones, and printers
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and printing issues
· Assist with Microsoft 365 user administration
· Support Android and iPhone mobile devices
· Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams
· Perform routine computer maintenance and software updates
· Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and assets
· Document support activities, procedures, and technical solutions
· Support deployment and maintenance of printers and scanners
· Perform basic network troubleshooting
· Assist with Starlink and internet connectivity issues at company locations
· Travel occasionally to company sites for onsite technical support
· Collaborate with the IT Manager on technology projects and improvements
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in any of the following: Information Technology, Computer Systems Technician, or Computer Networking or related education or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communicator who is patient with users.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
