Renovator/Carpenter (Renovation Technician)
CORE Property Services is growing its Renovation Division (CORE Renovations) and is looking for an experienced Renovator/Carpenter to join our team in the Greater Moncton Area.
Our Renovation Team focuses on improving and transforming residential and commercial properties through quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and reliable service. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys a variety of renovation projects, takes pride in their work, and can confidently manage tasks from start to finish.
Your New Role: Renovator/Carpenter (Renovation Technician)
As a Renovator, you will be responsible for completing a wide range of renovation and improvement projects, including carpentry, demolition, finishing work, repairs, and property upgrades.
What You'll Do
- Complete residential and commercial renovation projects from start to finish.
- Perform carpentry, framing, drywall installation and finishing, painting, trim work, caulking, flooring, windows, and door installations.
- Install and repair cabinets, shelving, fixtures, appliances, and interior finishes.
- Complete kitchen, bathroom, basement, and general renovation projects.
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical work related to renovation projects.
- Carry out demolition activities, including the safe removal of old structures, fixtures, and materials to prepare for renovation.
- Read plans, assess project requirements, and determine the best approach for completing work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and project leaders.
- Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures and building code requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Experienced in residential or commercial renovations.
- Skilled with a wide range of tools, materials, and construction methods.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, finishing, and general renovation practices.
- Able to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with pride in craftsmanship.
- Comfortable working independently and managing daily priorities.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.
Your Background
- 3+ years of renovation, carpentry, or skilled trades experience.
- Strong experience with: Carpentry, Drywall, Painting, Flooring, Trim and Finish Work, Framing, Cabinets and Fixtures.
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Moncton Area.
