We have a part time community visiting position available in Richmond. This is home to home care and clients are grouped together to minimize travel between. The current need is for Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. Days is 7am-3pm and afternoons is 3pm-11pm. This would be approximately 3-4 shifts weekly.
As this is community visiting a drivers licence (7N or 5) and a reliable vehicle are needed to perform this job.
Part time staff are not eligible for benefits but do receive a $25 monthly phone allowance.
Mileage is paid at 40 cents/km between clients.
Requirements:
Vulnerable Sector Police Check in the last 5 years
Must have CHW or HCA certificate and be registered in good standing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
CPR certificate
TB test results from within the last 12 months or chest xray from within 24 months
Must be double vaccinated for COVID
Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living
Food preparation and/or assistance with feeding as required
Light housekeeping such as: dishes, folding laundry etc
