The Role
As a Toyota Service Technician, you'll diagnose, maintain, and repair Toyota cars and trucks to manufacturer standards, plus recondition used-inventory vehicles. We're looking for someone who takes pride in precise, efficient work and thrives in a fast-paced shop alongside a team that solves problems quickly.
What You'll Do
- Perform scheduled maintenance and diagnostic repairs on Toyota vehicles
- Recondition used-inventory vehicles to dealership standards
- Road-test vehicles and document findings and work performed
- Communicate clearly with the service team on diagnoses, timelines, and parts needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bay
What You Bring — Required
- Government-issued Automotive Service Technician license (Red Seal or provincial equivalent)
- Valid B.C. driver's license with a clean abstract and no restrictions
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- A full set of tools (Westminster Toyota supplies select specialty/shop equipment)
- Strong mechanical aptitude across a range of automotive systems
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Previous Toyota and/or dealership experience
- Government Inspector certificate
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or ADP dealer operating systems
