Responsibilities
- Greet members warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Jonas Point of Sale system).
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Provide excellent member service by actively listening to member needs, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills to ensure prompt service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of food orders and address any special dietary requests or concerns.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years previous restaurant experience or food service experience is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas for order entry and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Experience in serving or bartending roles within the food industry is a plus.
- Basic understanding of hospitality principles to create welcoming environments for all guests.
