Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Administrator and become a vital part of streamlining our production processes! In this energetic role, you will be Integral to the success of day-to-day operations, ensuring that all administrative aspects of production are efficiently managed. This role supports various departments by coordinating schedules, maintaining Production Records, and ensuring effective communication between departments.
Responsibilities
- Enter daily production data, including quantities produced and scrap generated, into the company's database to ensure that all information is current and accurate.
- Develop and maintain a system to track materials that are placed on hold due to quality issues, maintenance, or other reasons
- Develop and distribute production checklists, quality check list to ensure workflow consistency across all production processes.
- Assist in recording run sheets and saving production recipes accurately, ensuring that all production processes are well-documented and easily accessible.
- Verify new recipes with lead hands to ensure that all updates are useful, accurate, and up to date, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in production.
- Serve as a central point of contact for production-related communications, ensuring that information is accurately and efficiently conveyed between all parties involved in production.
- Collaborate with HR in maintaining H&S committee meeting minutes and open items list, updating as required
- Maintain Production training matrix in collaboration with HR.
- Generate daily and weekly attendance reports, recording responses from supervisors to justify absenteeism or lateness
- Generate Ops review open issues list and follow-up on open items with appropriate owners
- Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by management.
- Generate operation related to KPI reports on Weekly/Monthly Basis
- Maintains and updates Production Rosters (employee List).
- Maintains and follow-ups with all Supervisors employees review dates and completions
Requirements
- Experience with data entry, database management, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Experience generating reports, creating charts/graphs, and analyzing data to identify trends.
- Some understanding of manufacturing or production processes, including workflow and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in business administration or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative or operations support roles, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in ERP or operations management systems (e.g., Syspro, or other related platforms).
- Experience providing training to others is a plus.
