Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Machine Operator/Labourer to join our clients manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production processes to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, familiarity with CNC equipment is an asset and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their technical skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate machines
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Load and unload parts
- Check the quality of the product
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and maintain quality control standards.
- Assist in packaging finished products efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety regulations.
- Follow detailed work instructions and document production activities accurately.
Experience
- Prior experience operating machines
- Grade 12
- Criminal Background Check is required
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining operations, and quality control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $20.80-$21.84 per hour
