As a Welder, your primary responsibilities are to inspect incoming parts, to weld small parts together and fabricate non-oil-filled subassemblies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Inspect and check incoming parts to ensure they match engineering drawings and specifications.
- Verify documents, prepare materials for welding and setup welding machine.
- Weld small parts to create subassemblies.
- Clean and maintain welding equipment and station.
- Performing other duties as allocated.
WHAT IT TAKES

- Grade 12 Education.
- Saskatchewan Polytechnic Pre-Employment Welding Course or equivalent program.
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on welding experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tools and welding processes.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Capability to work at sustained pace and produce quality work.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
