Now Hiring: Part-Time Prep Cook & Sandwich Maker at Lorina’s Restaurant
Lorina’s is currently seeking a part-time prep cook & sandwich maker to join our team in Torbay! We’re looking for a mature, experienced individual with several years of experience in the restaurant industry who can assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, sandwich making and other various kitchen tasks.
Working Hours:
This position will start as soon as the right candidate is found. Applicants must be dependable and available for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed. 20-35 hours with the opportunity to increase hours when available.
Store Hours: Monday–Friday: 8am–7pm Saturday: 9am–5pm Sunday: Closed
Requirement: Dependable transportation to Torbay **
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen setting is required
- Dependability
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience in sandwich making or meal prep/cooking is a strong asset
Responsibilities
- Assist with prep cooking, sandwich, wrap, and salad making Maintain a steady pace during busy hours and keep up with a flow of orders
- Stay proactive during slower periods by cleaning, organizing, and prepping for upcoming rushes
Wage: $16.35 + Pooled tips amongst all staff.
