About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Associate to support our continued expansion in North America. This is a high-impact role focused on growing our client base and building lasting relationships.
This role is based in our downtown Toronto office. While regular in-office presence is expected, we offer a flexible work-from-home policy with manager approval.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Research:
- Research and identify potential clients, focusing on General Contractors and key decision-makers across North America.
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists to support business development initiatives.
- Conduct outbound calls and outreach to qualify leads and schedule product demos.
CRM Management:
- Maintain and update data in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Sales and Marketing Enablement:
- Create and update sales presentations in preparation for product demos.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development and Marketing teams to generate engaging content across various platforms.
Administrative Support & Collaboration:
- Create, update, store, and organize service agreements.
- Assist in organizing and participating in webinars, demos, and conferences.
- Confidently use video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams) for internal and external meetings.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Salesforce or knowledge of another CRM tool (Salesforce Preferred).
- Web conferencing experience and etiquette using tools like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to participate in business travel within Canada and the United States.
