Role Description
Baypath Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Electrical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception through completion, including planning, design coordination, execution, contract administration, and closeout. Key responsibilities include overseeing project schedules, budgets, site inspections, reporting, consultant and contractor coordination, and client communication. The Senior Project Manager / Electrical Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and in accordance with client expectations and applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, budgeting, and stakeholder communication
- Strong knowledge of electrical building systems design and engineering principles
- Experience with site reviews, inspections, contract administration, and quality assurance processes
- Ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal resources to support successful project delivery
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is required
