Cobalt Industrial Supply is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our inventory flow, ensuring that products move in and out of our facility with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy against purchase orders; prepare and package outbound goods with proper labeling and documentation.
- Inventory Management: Use our digital inventory system to accurately track and record all stock movements.
- Logistics Coordination: Work directly with carriers to schedule and streamline pickups and deliveries.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse machinery to move heavy materials.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and move heavy items (up to [Insert Weight, e.g., 50lbs]) regularly.
- Soft Skills: Strong time-management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification is preferred (or the willingness to obtain one).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
