Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Count Assistant to support our inventory management and supply chain operations. This role involves conducting accurate stock counts, analyzing inventory data, and assisting with process improvements to optimize warehouse distribution and materials management. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and data visualization tools. Core Responsibilities
Auditing & Count Management
- Design and execute physical inventory and daily/weekly cycle counting programs.
- Reconcile variances between physical counts and system records.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on discrepancies to prevent future shrinkage and errors.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and company financial control policies.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accuracy of item master data, stock allocations, and locations within the ERP system (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Prepare and present inventory reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
- Monitor obsolete, excess, or expired stock and manage write-offs.
Leadership & Process Improvement
- Supervise, train, and schedule inventory clerks and warehouse counting teams.
- Establish and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to optimize storage and stock availability.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain, with previous supervisory experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with modern ERP systems
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to travel: Must have a valid travel document with an unencumbered travel visa to the USA – Must Have
- Ability to Drive – Should have a G License and experience of driving in USA – Must Have
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
