Sirocco Landscapes Inc. is looking for an experienced Landscape / Hardscape Construction Foreman to lead high-end residential design-build landscape projects in Kamloops and the surrounding area.
This is not an entry-level lead hand role. We are looking for someone with strong field experience, leadership ability, and pride in building premium outdoor spaces that are done properly, safely, and professionally.
Our projects are full design-build landscapes that include paver patios, retaining walls, natural stone, outdoor living spaces, water features, fire features, irrigation, lighting, planting, grading, equipment work, and complete landscape construction from concept to completion.
What You’ll Do
Lead a landscape construction crew on premium residential projects.
Read and understand landscape plans, grades, layouts, and construction details.
Manage daily site production, quality, safety, and crew organization.
Install and oversee hardscape and landscape construction work, including pavers, walls, stairs, natural stone, base prep, grading, drainage, softscaping, irrigation, lighting, water features, and fire features.
Operate equipment confidently, including skid steers, excavators, masonry saws, compaction equipment, laser levels, and other power and hand tools.
Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, subcontractors, and daily site needs.
Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable.
Communicate clearly with project managers, designers, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and team members.
Track time, production, materials, and job progress accurately.
Keep job sites clean, organized, safe, and professional.
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, or related construction work preferred.
3+ years of experience installing hardscapes and/or softscapes required.
2+ years of experience leading crews or running job sites preferred.
Strong experience with pavers, retaining walls, base preparation, grading, drainage, natural stone, and equipment operation.
Proficiency operating skid steers, excavators, masonry saws, compaction equipment, laser levels, and other power and hand tools.
Ability to read landscape plans, understand elevations, and build from layout.
Certifications in Horticulture, ICPI, Allan Block, or BCLNA are preferred.
Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and excellent communication abilities.
Punctual, reliable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Strong work ethic with a keen eye for detail.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required.
Trailer towing experience required. Code 20 endorsement is an asset.
A great sense of humour.
Your Working Environment
Personal protective equipment is required, including steel-toe boots, gloves, hard hats, eye protection, sun protection, work pants, uniform shirts, and shorts where applicable.
Tasks involve extended periods of standing, walking on construction sites, operating equipment, using concrete saws and hand tools, wheelbarrowing, shovelling, lifting, and working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Heavy lifting of 50+ lbs and good manual dexterity are required.

Location: Kamloops, BC
Ability to commute/relocate: Kamloops, BC V2H 1B7, reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work required.
Education: Secondary School preferred.
Experience: Landscape hardscaping, 3 years required.
Licence/Certification: Class 5 Licence required.
Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
