APEX Rope Industries is seeking an IRATA L3 Rope Access Technician in Calgary AB and surronding areas to add to our call out project list for future opportunities.

Requirements and qualifications:
APEX is an IRATA member company, and an IRATA certification is required.
Ability to pass all pre-access requirements as required by clients.
Read and understand the relevant sections of APEX’s health and safety manual, operation procedures and how they apply to this position.
Read and understand APEX’s written procedures and the scope of each procedure for the applicable rope access methods to be performed.
Sort, organize, and assist rope access equipment.
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and or supervision.
Required to complete safety paperwork such as FLRA’s, etc.
Able to perform pre use checks of rope access equipment.
Demonstrates the skills and knowledge of a level 1, level 2 and level 3 technicians.
Understands the elements and principles of the IRATA safe systems of work.
Understands relevant working techniques and local legislation.
Extensive knowledge of advanced rope access rigging and rescue techniques.
Holds an appropriate and current first aid certificate.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by Management.
