Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to ensure a positive client experience
- Stay informed about current hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Expertise in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling treatments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products naturally while maintaining excellent client relationships
- Experience with retail sales and managing front desk operations is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide personalized consultations
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
