We are flexible on hiring wage rates, these are based on the experience of the applicant. Schedule and wage will be negotiated during the interviewing process.

Junior Technician Position
As a General Laboureryou will work out of our shop, and on-site at various customer locations throughout Winnipeg. You will be responsible for the duties outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Accurate recording of temperatures and fuel levels of all reefer and heater units at customer sites
- Securing and Routing of power cables on rail equipment
- Mounting/Dismounting of clip-on generators on containers using a forklift
- Inspection of reefer power cables prior to use
- Photo / Video recording of unit temperatures and cabling
- Refuelling of intermodal equipment
- Topping up fluids on generators and other intermodal equipment.
- Communication with customers and coworkers via phone, Internal chat, and two-way radio.
- Other tasks as required
Requirements
- Must have a safety-oriented work ethic
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must pay excellent attention to detail
- Must have a valid Class 5 drivers’ license
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
- Must be 18 or older. (Unable to obtain Erailsafe if under 18)
- Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions. This is an outdoor working position (rain, direct sunlight, snow etc.)
- Must have basic computer skills

- Self-motivated, and ability to work unsupervised
