Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and medical histories to develop personalized massage therapy plans
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care routines
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with licensing requirements
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide a relaxing experience
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements for licensure renewal
Experience
- Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist (RMT) in accordance with local regulations
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment planning
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client questions effectively
