We are looking for full-time and part-time RMTs to join our team! Body Blitz Spa is an award-winning Waters Spa created by women, employing women, for women. We have two busy locations in downtown Toronto at 497 King St. East & 471 Adelaide St. West. We preserve the centuries-old European tradition of “Taking the Waters” to promote health and well-being through Therapeutic Waters, water-based Body Treatments, and Massages. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a professional Registered Massage Therapist role with a good standing membership with the College of Massage Therapists in Ontario. Position Overview
Registered Massage Therapists are valued members of the Body Blitz Spa team. A successful Body Blitz Spa RMT possesses a warm and welcoming manner with the ability to perform a variety of massage therapy services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform all modalities of massage offered by Body Blitz Spa, i.e. prenatal, deep pressure, and therapeutic
Provide the highest quality massage therapy treatments in a safe, hygienic, professional, and courteous manner
Anticipate client’s needs and responds promptly and professionally
Frequently check with clients to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout and after the service
Responsible for maintaining ongoing up-to-date, accurate, and confidential treatment records.
Ensure proper cleanliness and sanitization of treatment rooms
Skills required
You can perform a variety of massage therapy services, including prenatal massage
You are a superb communicator
You provide exemplary attention to outstanding customer service, and always make a personal connection with your client
You love working in a fast-paced environment with other dynamic women
Requirements
Availability to work some evenings/weekend shifts
Active and current license from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
Professional liability insurance to practice as an RMT
