Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for employees and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities by inspecting and addressing any spills or hazards promptly
- Perform basic facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, restocking supplies, and reporting repairs needed to management
- Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to and document completed tasks as required
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
