Venta Care Centre is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Hospitality Concierge for our Long Term Care Facility.

We are looking for a candidate that is active, fun, fabulous at multi-tasking and loves customer service. Team work, communication, computer skills and wanting to work in a fast paced environment is a must

Job responsibilities:

  • The Receptionist/Concierge job description involves welcoming and greeting clients warmly, and ensuring that they feel comfortable and happy on their visit
  • Have the responsibility to promote the image of the care centre by ensuring they look professional at all times to give customers a positive impression about the facility
  • Build and maintain good relationships with residents and their families by providing friendly, enthusiastic and professional service
  • Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information
  • Book appointments when needed
  • Process payments from residents for accommodations and services
  • Distribution of mail and faxes as required

Qualifications and skills:

  • Ability to manage a dynamic and busy work environment
  • Awareness and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for all residents, families and staff
  • Mature and positive attitude
  • Proficiency in English
  • Able to adapt to immediate or unforeseen challenges
  • Strong work ethic
  • Natural ability to develop relationships
  • Has a high standard of personal accountability
  • Has a drive to achieve goals and targets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Certificate in Hospitality would be an asset
