We are a well established concrete company located in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, BC. Searching for a full time heavy duty mechanic with lots of opportunity and full access to a heated, enclosed 60'x80' shop.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of concrete mixers and equipment, including cars & trucks
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems or areas for improvement.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably in a industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
