Summary Description:
The Photo Operations Associates are tasked to take memorable photos for our visitors as a souvenir of their visit to the King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh exhibition and meet sales goals set by management. This exhibition is in LA through January, this is a short-term position.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Welcome customers by greeting them; encouraging them to have their photo taken.
Direct customers through the photo process and queue line.
Memorize short dialogues to encourage the proper positioning of guests for photos.
Take high quality photos while delivering excellent customer service.
Help customer make selections; offering suggestions and opinions.
Process payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maximize the capture rate with a minimum disruption to the exhibition operation.
Provide best-in-class services that can make people smile.
Handle photo equipment safely with care.
Operate photo equipment with specific settings.

General Responsibilities:
Implements general policies and procedures established by management
Provides advice and recommendations to management relative to the daily operation of the photo operation.
Organizes work schedule to accommodate changes in priorities
Ensures a positive experience for every visitor
Coordinates duties to ensure efficient operation of the exhibition
Commits to achieving excellence in customer service
Reviews posted work schedule periodically to ensure adherence of work times
Works well with co-workers to ensure harmony within the staff
Complies with all safety and accessibility regulations
Complies with all applicable laws
Conducts self in a professional manner when in the presence of visitors
Notifies immediate supervisor of any infractions by others
Begins shift in accordance with the posted work schedule
Ends shift in accordance with the posted work schedule
Maintains a productive and professional relationship with business partner(s), where applicable.
Adheres to all business partner(s) policies and procedures, where applicable.
Adheres to all business partner(s) safety and health guidelines, where applicable.
Performs other duties as requested

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma
Two years retail or sales experience.
Effective communication skills, able to listen and exchange information.
Excellent customer service skills, able to demonstrate behaviors that enhance the level of customer satisfaction and meet customer expectations. Cultural competency and experience working with diverse communities.

Desired Qualifications:
Photography experience in entertainment industry.
Line Management experience
Event Experience
Customer service experience in entertainment industry.
Retail or food service experience.
Experience working within a museum, theater, or cultural institution.
Bilingual or multilingual.
Knowledge of photography and operating camera equipment

Ability to work long, irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-stress, ever-changing environment
Ability to work with a variety of personalities
Ability to be an enthusiastic with a passion for the entertainment industry
Ability to listen to customer comments and respond is a professional and courteous manner
