Multi-site CLXT opportunity now available at the Health Centre in Sparwood and nearby Elkford Health Centre.

Our health centres offers a range of interdisciplinary, outpatient healthcare services including Laboratory and X-Ray. As the CLXT for Sparwood and nearby Elkford (34km away by car), you will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The Laboratory/X-Ray Technologist also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.
This is a casual position which means that shifts are offered on an as needed basis and hours are not guaranteed. Shift times may be 08:00 – 16:12, 08:30 – 16:42 and 09:00-17:12. It also requires casual on-call shifts until 19:30 Monday to Friday and 08:00-19:30 on weekends.

Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience would be preferred.
