Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Tire Installer to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with hand and power tools. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry. Duties
- Remove and replace tires on various types of vehicles using appropriate hand and power tools
- Perform tire repairs, rotations, and maintenance tasks following safety protocols
- Inspect tires for damage or wear and advise customers on necessary repairs or replacements
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire-related issues effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including basic mechanical repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering questions
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional automotive services or products when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while adhering to safety standards
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures is advantageous
Pay: $15.27-$31.91 per hour
