Job Overview
We need Flatbed driver with more than 2 years plus experience with clean records. Its a full time job from Brampton to Montreal from Monday to Friday. Pay will be $0.60 Cents per mile in cash. You must have Abstract, CVOR , DZ license, resume and work experience letter from insurance company.
What you’ll do
- Operate flatbed trucks to transport freight to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting during transit, utilizing tarps and straps as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Navigate various routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. .
Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with flatbed trailers.
- Previous delivery driver experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and load securing techniques is essential.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
