As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our irrigation division and are currently hiring Irrigation Technicians and an Irrigation Crew Lead. Irrigation Foreman
Role Overview
As an Irrigation Foreman, you will take a hands-on leadership role while working alongside your crew on residential and commercial irrigation projects. You will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, maintaining quality standards, troubleshooting systems, and mentoring team members. This role combines technical expertise with leadership and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise an irrigation crew to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality work
- Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure punctuality and productivity
- Install complete irrigation systems according to design plans
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation system issues
- Conduct routine system maintenance and recommend performance improvements
- Safely operate trenchers, hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment
- Collaborate with the Irrigation Manager to plan and execute projects according to schedule and budget
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Train, mentor, and support the development of junior technicians
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site when required
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation/sprinkler systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a crew
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of plumbing, grading, and soft landscaping is an asset
- Physically fit and capable of demanding manual work
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Personal transportation required; G license preferred
