Description:
Provides administrative and secretarial support to the hospital program. The Clinical Team Secretary is responsible for performing a range of clerical, administrative, and secretarial duties, ensuring the smooth operation of the program daily. This role also serves as the primary point of contact for the assigned program.
Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Medical Secretarial Education Program.

Keyboarding (50 WPM) and dicta typing skills.

Computer skills using Word Perfect, Word, Quattro Pro, Excel, E-mail and Internet.

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and requirements of the Mental Health Act and the Ontario Public Hospital Act related to clinical records.

Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Recent CPIC (within 6 Months) including, vulnerable sector.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a professional multi-disciplinary treatment team.

English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression. Bilingual (French/English) is preferred.
Salary Range:
31.45 to 34.48 per hour
