Duties:
- Transport goods and materials over long distances, typically between cities or states
- Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using electronic devices or two-way radios
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- US visa required
- Excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate various road conditions
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
