They are seeking a talented Senior Java Software Engineer to join their new team in a collaborative, tech-driven environment focused on cutting-edge projects and code development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead software development teams as a senior technical leader, ideally in IoT applications built with Java and AWS tools.
- Work in a role similar to IoT/Java/Smart Device Applications within a software or mixed hardware-software company.
- Utilize core Java, IoT software applications, and AWS IoT tools such as Greengrass, IoT Core, IoT Events, and Device Manager.
- Preferably have experience with AWS CI/CD tools and/or Terraform.
Qualifications:
- Experience in AWS IoT tools: Greengrass, IoT Core, IoT Events, and Device Manager.
- Experience in smart-IOT applications. In terms of smart-IoT devices, ideally virtual assistant type devices (like amazon alexa) or another type of iot-smart device.
- 5- 7 years of experience in Java and SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar hands-on technical leadership role, particularly in healthcare software, with knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, or related applications being advantageous.
- Healthcare industry experience. Would be a plus.
- Experience mentoring and coaching software engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership as the technical leader for the creation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of a high-volume, high-availability cloud-based multi-platform site.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS GenAI.
