Overview:
Pro-King Construction is a commercial construction company with a focus on restaurant and retail locations within western Canada and Ontario. Driven by a passionate leadership team, and clients base spanning over 15+ years. We are looking for a Working Site Supervisor to champion our site progress, means and methods, with a particular focus on finishing projects on time. Our ideal candidate is able to travel across Ontario to sites, and visit the Peterborough office when needed. They also would have a background in commercial construction, have working knowledge of the construction process, be able to follow and give direction to various trades, and have a keen sense to learn.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the crew, reading drawings and executing work in coordination with our Project Management. Perform a comprehensive set of physical labouring tasks but capable across all areas and aspects of the project, demonstrating your construction skills with an aptitude, working with tools and materials, while providing guidance to other people trades. Ability to travel to Ontario site locations and remain there for the duration of the project is a must.
Additional Responsibilities:
End each day by spending the last part of your work shift on routine cleaning of the site, writing a brief report and photos.
Required Education:
No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Job Requirements:
Ability to Visit Peterborough Office when needed.
3 years related experience minimum – open to higher levels of experience into senior levels.
2 years experience in a leadership role.
Construction labour abilities from a generalist perspective
Excellent English oral communication skills is a must
On the road job - Vehicle Required - Work locations will vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Works cooperatively and productively within a team

Remuneration:
$45-$60/ hour - based on qualifications and experience
Mileage compensated
LOA when working away from home
