Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labour to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational and maintenance tasks within the marina environment, ensuring smooth daily operations and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with basic construction This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a dynamic on the water environment.
Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials using hand tools, power tools etc
- Support maintenance of marina equipment and infrastructure
- Perform general cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of the marina facilities
- Operate warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary)
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning
- maintenance and landscaping / grass cutting and weed wacking
- Support boat maintenance activities and other marina-related tasks as needed
- basic renos demolition and construction projects
- Skills
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly techniques
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- marina operations is advantage but not a must
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
