Role Overview
The production welder is responsible for fitting and welding according to specifications outlined on weldment drawings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Welding Supervisor, the duties and responsibilities of the production welder include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Receives instructions and work orders from your supervisor;
· Retrieves parts to be welded, correctly fits the parts and welds them according to drawing specifications
· Ensures that work order quantities are correct, and properly fill out work orders
· Work in a safety conscious manner;
· Inspects product and ensures that weld quality meets specified requirements

· Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Effort Requirements
· Strong English reading and writing skills;
· Ability to understand basic math equations (i.e.: add, multiply, fractions, etc.);
· Strong attention to detail;
· Understands engineering drawings and weld specifications.
· Formal welding training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00-$28.50 per hour
