About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team, working within Operations & Global Supply! As a Data Analyst at SnapTravel, you will be responsible for using data to answer strategic questions and drive our business strategy and customer success. With a strong analytical and data-driven approach, you are an expert in quantitative analysis and will use your skills to help our team organize, visualize and understand large data sets relating to Customer Experience and Global Inventory/Supply. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership in a role as you run deep-dive analyses, create regression models, build dashboards and reporting to drive business growth and draw strategic insights from product and user data.

Challenges You'll Solve:
Data-driven Culture: you will be an ambassador for our data-driven culture, taking data and using it to answer business questions and drive strategy & decision making for our Operations & Global Supply teams
Data Management: you will pull, clean and organize raw data to create models that depict trends in the customer base to improve forecasting activities
Visualizations: you will help us to see and understand our data in a way that makes sense, creating automated dashboards and funnels for various internal teams to communicate customer pain points and successes
Hard Questions: your quantitative analysis will be an integral part of helping us to answer the toughest questions in our business, such as:
Where in the operations and customer success funnels should we concentrate our efforts and our spend? Where can we improve the most?
What key insights can be drawn from our users and the way that they use our product?
How can we analyze and better understand our Global Supply, to ensure that our pricing and hotel rate availability is optimized against user demand?
What A/B tests, experiments and multivariate product tests can be used to explore new ideas, and how can they be effectively tracked, measured and monitored? When are the results statistically significant? When do we pull the plug?

About You:
You have at least 2 years of experience in a Data Analysis role, ideally from the eCommerce industry
You are outstanding at pulling, cleaning and manipulating large sets of complex data to turn them into stories that key stakeholders can understand
You are an expert at writing SQL queries & doing data analysis with Python and/or R, and know your way around visualization tools (Tableau, Periscope, etc.)
You are naturally curious, and have a solid understanding of common statistical methods and their real-world applications
Experience working with Operations and Customer Support is an asset, particularly around setting, tracking and monitoring SLA's and KPI's
