The Drive-Thru Assistant / Valet Driver is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression for guests visiting the service department. This role supports the service team by greeting guests, assisting with vehicle intake, moving and parking vehicles safely, and transporting guests or vehicles as required.
The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, and highly professional, with excellent customer service skills and a clean driving record.
- Greet all guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Direct vehicles into the service drive-thru and assist with check-in.
- Escort guests to the waiting area or arrange transportation as needed.
- Ensure each guest receives a premium ownership experience consistent with the Genesis brand.
- Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles.
- Conduct visual inspections for any pre-existing vehicle damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and parking areas and showroom.
- Coordinate vehicle pickups and deliveries for valet appointments.
- Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and respect.
- Assist service advisors and technicians by transporting vehicles as needed.
- Maintain courtesy vehicles, including fueling, cleaning, and staging.
- Help keep the service reception area clean and organized.
- Support general dealership operations as assigned.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is an asset.
- Comfortable driving luxury vehicles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the day.
- Able to clean and vacuum interior of the vehicles.
