Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Resident Strata Manager to lead the daily operations and management of our strata community. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands on skills and abilities, customer service, and property management skills, ensuring smooth communication between council members, residents, and vendors. This role offers an opportunity to demonstrate leadership , maintain high owner/resident satisfaction, and ensure compliance with strata by-laws and policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage strata property operations, including hands on maintenance coordination, janitorial tasks, and vendor management.
- With the support of a proactive council, serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
- Facilitate communication between residents, board members, contractors, and service providers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Participate in meetings, answer council inquiries, coordinate with and support the strata maintenance committee and incumbent property management company.
- Adhere to the strata's maintenance schedule, be proactive in prioritizing competing issues.
- Support council as needed in managing contractor service contracts and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to community policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
- Utilize strong phone etiquette to handle council and or resident concerns effectively while maintaining a positive community atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in resident manager property management roles.
- Familiarity with the BC Strata Act, keeping current with strata management, current or past course learning via RMTI best ptractices.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional interpersonal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of property management regulations, safety standards, and legal compliance requirements.
- Proactive maintenance skills, ability to take direction and demonstrate initiative to ensure the community's high maintenance standards are maintained.
- Ability to manage the technical requirements, such as computerized sprinkler systems, security video and basic electronics.
- The Resident Strata Manager plays a vital role in fostering a well-managed community that owner/ residents are proud to call home.
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
