HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS WANTED
Registered Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and Naturopathic Doctors
Not just to fill a room—to help shape what comes next.
StoneRMT is growing, and we are looking for exceptional healthcare practitioners to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic in downtown Bowmanville.
But this is not a “rent a room, close the door and work in isolation” kind of opportunity.
We are building a clinic where practitioners communicate, collaborate, think clinically and help patients understand not only where they are experiencing symptoms—but why those symptoms may be occurring, what meaningful progress should look like and what comes next.
At StoneRMT, care is not treated as a temporary escape from pain.
It is part of a bigger plan.
Our approach brings together hands-on treatment, movement, rehabilitation, postural care, fitness, education and meaningful follow-up. We want patients to feel supported throughout the full process—from their first assessment to improved function, greater confidence and long-term maintenance.
We are looking for practitioners who want to be part of that vision.
Current opportunities
We welcome applications from:
- Registered Massage Therapists
- Registered Physiotherapists
- Chiropractors
- Osteopathic Manual Practitioners
- Naturopathic Doctors
Opportunities may begin on a part-time basis, with room to grow based on availability, patient demand, performance and mutual fit.
You may be the right fit if you:
- Hold active registration and remain in good standing with the applicable Ontario regulatory college, where required for your profession
- Maintain active professional liability insurance
- For non-regulated designations, hold appropriate education, credentials and active membership in a recognized professional association
- Practise within your professional scope and follow all applicable standards, ethical requirements and recordkeeping obligations
- Care deeply about providing thoughtful, patient-centred care
- Enjoy supporting patients experiencing pain, tension, injuries, postural concerns, mobility limitations, chronic conditions or movement-related dysfunction
- Want to develop clear care or treatment plans rather than simply repeating the same appointment
- Are comfortable discussing findings, goals, expected progress and appropriate recommendations with patients
- Value communication and collaboration with other practitioners
- Are open to feedback, professional development and refining your clinical approach
- Want to build a strong, loyal caseload without feeling like you must do everything alone
- Bring warmth, professionalism, curiosity and genuine care into the treatment room
- Believe that excellent clinical outcomes and an excellent patient experience should go hand in hand
What makes StoneRMT different?
We are creating something between the traditional hands-on treatment clinic, the rehabilitation space and the wellness studio.
Depending on their individual needs, our patients may move between massage therapy, athletic therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, osteopathic manual therapy, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, Pilates, strength training, mobility work, stretching, postural correction and other supportive services.
We believe the body should not be treated as a collection of disconnected parts.
A sore shoulder may involve the neck, rib cage, breathing mechanics, posture, training habits, stress or movement patterns. Low-back pain may require more than temporary relief. A patient recovering from an injury may need both skilled clinical care and a safe pathway back into movement.
A patient managing a chronic condition may benefit from having multiple practitioners who understand their goals and communicate appropriately—rather than receiving fragmented care from providers who never connect.
Our practitioners are encouraged to think beyond a single symptom or appointment while always remaining within their professional scope.
We are working toward a stronger collaborative care-planning model that helps patients understand:
- What we are seeing
- What we are addressing
- What their goals are
- How frequently they may benefit from care
- How progress will be measured
- When their plan should change
- How movement or another service may support their recovery
- When a referral or collaborative approach may be appropriate
- When they are ready to transition into maintenance or greater independence
We are not looking for someone who has every answer.
We are looking for someone who is engaged enough to keep asking better questions.
What you can expect from us
- An established clinic in downtown Bowmanville
- A growing patient community and strong local reputation
- Administrative and booking support
- A professional, welcoming and thoughtfully designed environment
- Opportunities for appropriate internal referrals and collaborative care
- Support with building and retaining your caseload
- Opportunities to contribute to workshops, programs, community events, social media or educational content
- A team that values initiative, communication, accountability and kindness
- Space to develop your own clinical interests and professional identity
- Opportunities to help shape new services and interdisciplinary programs
- A clinic owner who is actively improving systems, follow-up, treatment planning, patient outcomes and the practitioner experience
There may also be opportunities to become involved in specialized programming related to rehabilitation, mobility, posture, prenatal and postnatal care, sports and athletic performance, chronic pain, healthy aging, fitness, small-group education or community wellness.
Who we are not looking for
Someone who wants to arrive, see patients, leave and remain completely disconnected from the clinic, the team and each patient’s broader plan of care.
There is nothing wrong with practising independently—but this particular opportunity is for someone who wants to belong to something collaborative.
Someone who notices when a patient is not progressing.
Someone who follows up.
Someone who communicates appropriately.
Someone who understands when another practitioner’s perspective may benefit the patient.
Someone who takes pride in the small details that make patients feel safe, remembered and genuinely cared for.
Newer graduate?
Please apply.
Clinical confidence takes time. We value humility, communication, reliability, curiosity, sound professional judgment and a willingness to learn just as much as years in practice.
Applicants must have completed—or be in the final stages of completing—the educational and registration requirements necessary to practise legally in Ontario before beginning to provide patient care.
Experienced practitioner?
We would love to hear what you want the next chapter of your career to look like—and what knowledge, leadership, specialty or new service you may be excited to bring to the team.
