We are seeking an experienced and reliable Website Administrator & Technical Support Specialist to provide ongoing support and maintenance for our website and online platforms on an as-needed basis.
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Website & Membership Systems Administrator to join our team as a casual/on-call contractor. This role involves managing and maintaining our web infrastructure, membership systems, and related backend services. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, databases, operating systems, and networking, ensuring the stability, security, and/or performance of our digital environment.
Position Summary:
The Website Administrator & Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and improving the DDRIOC website. This individual will work independently and be available on an on-call basis to implement website changes, update member information, troubleshoot technical issues, and support the organization's online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Add, edit, and remove member profiles and directory listings.
· Update website content, including text, images, announcements, forms, and documents.
· Revise website wording and page content as requested by DDRIOC leadership.
· Ensure website information remains current, accurate, and professional.
· Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate technical fixes when required.
· Monitor website functionality and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Assist with website design enhancements and user experience improvements.
· Support website security, backups, and routine maintenance.
· Update event information, educational offerings, and organizational announcements.
· Provide technical assistance related to website integrations and online forms.
· Recommend and implement best practices for website performance and accessibility.
· Be available on an as-needed basis for urgent website updates or technical support.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated experience in website administration and maintenance.
· Proficiency with website content management systems (WordPress preferred).
· Knowledge of website hosting environments, domain management, and website security.
· Experience editing website content, graphics, and page layouts.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and respond to requests in a timely manner.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience supporting professional associations, educational organizations, or non-profit organizations.
· Familiarity with membership management systems and online directories.
· Basic knowledge of SEO, website analytics, and digital marketing.
· Graphic design and content creation experience.
