Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of gardens, lawns, and landscape features using hand tools and power tools
- Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris to facilitate planting or construction activities
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing
- Maintain tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or construction is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous
- Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other heavy equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, landscape maintenance practices, and irrigation systems is beneficial
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
